I’m thinking of making “I Can Dig It” a weekly post – one where I will list a few shows I am excited to watch in the upcoming week. I will try to have the posts up on Sunday to cover until the next Sunday, but I will start tonight and go until Sunday February 7. (So look for the next section of “I Can Dig It” on Sunday, Feb. 7)
Let’s get started!
1. Human Target Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX
Being in its freshman season – and only on it’s fourth episode at that – I am already impressed by FOX‘s newest show, Human Target.
Starring Mark Valley as professional bodyguard Christopher Chance (which may or may not be his real name), this drama (which has been likened to a “light-heartened ’24′” ) centers on Chance being a hero and saving a target while usually attempting some kick-ass action moves.
In this week’s episode, Chance has to protect a former criminal from vengeful past accomplices. I, for one, am truly excited to see what Chance gets himself into this week.

2. The Deep End Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC
Yet another show in its first season, The Deep End has been linked to Grey’s Anatomy, and has already proven (to me) to have had a great start. (SPOILER ALERT: At the end of the pilot episode, you find out that the boss, Cliff, had been having an affair with young paralegal, Katie. Best part? Cliff’s wife is the other firm’s senior partner, Susan.)

3. Super Bowl XLIV Sunday February 7, 6 p.m. ET on CBS
Indianapolis Colts vs. New Orleans Saints. Biggest game of the year. Enough said.
