OK, so since The Olympics are STILL going on (honestly, do they ever end?), TV is still revolving everything around the games – meaning, hardly any new shows. However, the people (well, person) behind Don’t Touch That Dial still found 3 shows for everyone to watch this week!
(Also, since the Olympics are still going on, the Olympic poll on the right hand side will remain up until the games are over.)
Speaking of things that seem to never end, Desperate Houswives is currently in its sixth season, but it feels like it’s been on forever. The show is infamous for being a dramedy that kills people off almost once every few months.
This week, Susan (Teri Hatcher) has moved a stripper Robin (Julie Benz) into her home – which includes Susan’s husband Mike (James Denton) and son M.J. (Mason Vale Cotton). What kind of trouble could this cause on the street? Well, check out the video below to see a sneak peek of things to come.
This show, still in its pilot season but has already been picked up for season 2. For any of you that don’t know it, White Collar is about a former thief/forger, Neal, who now works for the FBI, specifically Peter Burke, the man who put Neal away to begin with. The show isn’t as fast-paced as other USA original show Burn Notice, but it seems to have a pretty good following and I think the show will do well in the next year or so.
According to the White Collar USA Network web page (link above on USA), this week’s episode deals with “an old rival of Neal‘s lays down a challenge: to see if either of them can create an impossible forgery. But as the rival uses brutal and deadly tactics to achieve his ends, Neal quickly realizes that much more is at stake than bragging rights.”

Chelsea Handler has become a very succesful late night talk show host of her own. Her show is different than David Letterman’s show or The Tonight Show (and whoever is hosting it now). Her show includes a short monologue in the beginning – usually running no more than 2 minutes – and then the Round Table portion. The Round Table includes her and three guests – sometimes staff on the show, sometimes comediens and sometimes Dr. Drew. They discuss hot issues of the day/week and add their own commentary and criticisms to celebrity shenanigans.
Check out video of what happens on the round table:
After the round table, she has a guest that she interviews for about five minutes. To match with the round table video I posted above, check out the interview Chelsea had with Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron.
Her quick wit and the fact that almost nothing seems to surprise her is what makes her show so incredibly interesting/hilarious to watch.
