I Can Dig It!

February 7, 2010

This week’s edition of I Can Dig It! seems to focus mainly on CBS. With the Super Bowl on today, and these three great shows on later this week, CBS is bound to have a good ratings week.

1. The Big Bang Theory  Mondays at 9:30 p.m. on CBS

The Big Bang Theory cast (from left): Simon Helberg, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons, Kunal Nayyar

The Big Bang Theory is a family favorite in my house. My brother has seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, my mother and father sit to watch it every Monday night at 9:30 p.m., and my sister – well, when she watches it, she likes it.

According to my dad, this is “the funniest show on TV.” While I don’t know if that’s entirely true, this show is quite hilarious.

This week, Leonard is going to Switzerland to see the Large Hadron Collider on Valentine’s Day and is forced to choose who to take: Penny, his girlfriend, or Sheldon, his best friend.

So, whether my brother is singing “Soft Kitty” or my father is saying, “Bazinga!” I know they will be watching this week’s seemingly great episode.

2. CSI: NY  Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on CBS

CSI NYs Don Flack (played by Eddie Cahill)

As you soon will be able to tell, I am a huge fan of the CSI franchise. I watch all the shows, and have my favorite (see: photo right) and not so favorite characters.

But why am I advertising this particular episode? Because of it’s guest star. Racing superstar Danica Patrick.
Danica plays Liza Gray – a racecar driver. Shocker. The case revolves around a car tampering that led to an explosion.
Check out the preview for Danica’s guest-star appearance below.
3. Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains  Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS
This new season of Survivor has put together all past favorites (and not so favorites). This Thursday, Feb. 11, marks the new season’s premiere episode. It should be an interesting ride for anyone who has watched Survivor in the past. (Including me.)
